Ingredients: 1 Medium size chopped lauki (Bottle Gourd) 1 Cup chopped onion 0.5 Cup chopped tomato 2-3 Chopped Green chillies 1 Tablespoon finely chopped ginger and garlic 0.5 Teaspoon cumin seeds 0.5 Teaspoon turmeric powder 0.5 Teaspoon chilli powder 0.5 Teaspoon garam masala powder 1 pinch asafetida (Hing) 1 tablespoon oil Salt to taste Cilantro
- In the pan heat oil and splutter cumin seeds. Add chopped onions , asafetida and salt. sauté it till it turns golden brown.
- Add finely chopped ginger – garlic, green chillies and chopped tomatoes following with dry ingredients turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala powder. Sauté it till the tomatoes are soft.
- Now, add lauki and mix well. Close the lid and cook for at least 5-6 minutes. Garnish with cilantro.
